Company Description:
ISM Driver Recruitment are now recruiting for Artic Shunter Driver on behalf of our client a leading retail distributer in Dublin 22. The ideal candidate will need to be flexible as the roster requires some Saturdays which would be paid at time and a half. Driver will be predominantly yard based, the shift is 12 noon to 8:30. Candidates will be required to demonstrate keen reversing skills and safety awareness.

Reporting to Transport Manager you will be responsible for:

Daily completion of pre-use check sheets, reporting any mechanical, electrical, or body faults to the Team Leader.

Carry out or assist in other activities as requested.
Operate equipment by training provided and approved SOP following prescribed work methods.
Ensuring the correct trailer is assigned to the correct bay.
Shunting on and off bays during the shift
Shunting trailers from the main depot to another local depot

When time allows on quieter days making collections with trailers
Moving trailer as required to all areas of the company.
There is also one delivery to be made on a Friday afternoon.
Readying Trailor’s for pick up by subcontractors.

Candidate Requirements:
Full Clean Irish Driving Licence (CE)
ADR and advantage but not necessary/it would be a strong advantage.
Valid Digicard and CPC Card PLUS New CPC Module completed after the 10th of September 2023
Good track record
Good Knowledge of Irish Road Network
1 Years Artic Driving Experience
Experience of Coupling and re-coupling Trailor

Salary and Benefits:

€19.76 Per Hour
€29.64 Per Hour (After 39 Hours)
€39.52 Per Hour on Bank Holidays

Hours of Work:
Shift Time ; 1200 – 2030 (Mon-Fri)
