In these terms and conditions (the “Conditions”) “We”, “Us” or “Our” means Irish School of Motoring Ltd trading as “ISM” or “The Irish School of Motoring” (Registered Office: 22 Jamestown Business Centre, Finglas, Dublin 11, Ireland – Registered in Ireland; Company Reg No: 18700) and”You” or “Your” means you the customer. You must read these Conditions in full as they set out the complete terms upon which We have agreed to provide, and You have agreed to obtain, driving tuition from Us. In particular, You should read and accustom yourself with the follow sections: Your responsibilities (clause 4) and Lesson Cancellation Policy (clause 8), which will apply to You. We and Your Instructor reserve the right to charge for any lessons affected by Your failure to comply with any of these Conditions.
The contract for driving tuition is solely between You and Your Instructor. You and Your Instructor are responsible for agreeing all matters relating to the timing, location and duration of individual lessons. Approved Driving Instructors (ADI’s) are governed within the industry by the Road Safety Authority. Also, Essential Driver Training (EDT) logbooks are issued by the Road Safety Authority. You must notify Your Instructor of any matters which affect your ability or entitlement to have driving tuition, for example, but not limited to, any lack, or loss, of a valid learner permit licence. ISM acts as agent for Your Instructor in receiving Your payments for driving tuition, other than payments made directly by You to Your Instructor. Where We and/or ISM makes bookings with, or supplies any information or documentation to You, or processes any payments for Your lessons, they act as the agent of Your Instructor.
Driving Lessons are only available to persons who meet the following criteria:
If You are taking On the Road driving lessons, Your ISM Instructor will carry the appropriate motor insurance, should You be involved in a collision as a learner driver whilst in control of driving the Instructors tuition vehicle.
We reserve the right to change the price of all Our learner driver products/lessons (including special offer prices)
You must pay for Your product(s), good(s) or lesson(s) in advance using the following methods:
Any personal data you provide will be held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act. We will use your personal date for the purpose(s) for which you have provided it. It may also be used for marketing, offering renewals, research and statistical purposes and crime prevention. We may however need to disclose personal data to a third party so that the service you requested could be provided. Your data may be disclosed to regulatory bodies for the purposes of monitoring and/or enforcing compliance with any regulatory rules/codes. If you give us information about another person, in doing so you confirm that they have given you permission to provide it to us to be able to process their personal data (including any sensitive personal data) and also that you have told them who we are and what we will use their data for, as set out in this notice.

2. Competitions are open to residents of the Republic of Ireland aged 16 or over, excluding ISM employees, their immediate families and anyone directly involved in the competition.
3. No purchase or entry fee is required.
4. Competitions will take place through ISM Driving Lessons’ official Facebook and/or Instagram accounts. The relevant competition post will state the prize, how to enter and the closing date.
5. Entries must follow the instructions in the competition post and be received before the stated closing date. ISM is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not received.
6. Winners will be selected at random from valid entries, unless otherwise stated in the competition post.
7. Winners will be contacted through the social media account used to enter and/or by email where provided. ISM may announce the winner’s name or social media handle on its social media accounts or ism.ie.
8. If a winner does not respond within 28 days of being contacted, ISM may select another winner.
9. Prizes are as stated in the relevant competition post, are subject to availability and cannot be exchanged for cash. ISM may substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
10. ISM reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel a competition where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.
11. By entering, entrants agree to these terms and any additional conditions stated in the relevant competition post. substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
12. Personal information will only be used to administer the competition and will be handled in accordance with ISM’s Privacy Policy at ism.ie/cookie-privacy-policy/.
13. ISM will only use a winner’s photograph, video or other identifiable content for additional promotional purposes with appropriate consent where required.
14. Competitions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram (Meta).
15. These terms are governed by Irish law.
1.Available to everyone who attends ISM Jobs Day in Tallaght or Finglas on 14 October 2026 and registers on the day.
2.One voucher per person, even if they attend both locations.
3.Each voucher covers one free course with ISM Training: Manual Handling, HACCP or one Driver CPC Module.
4.The voucher must be used to make a booking between 19 October and 31 December 2026.
5.Course dates and locations are subject to availability. Any applicable course eligibility requirements must be met.
6.Each voucher has a unique code and may be redeemed once only.
7.Vouchers are for the registered attendee only and cannot be transferred.
8.Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or a refund.
9.Valid for new bookings only; vouchers cannot be applied to existing bookings.
10.ISM Training’s standard cancellation and rescheduling terms apply.
1.How to Enter: Visitors to the ISM stand at Higher Options 2026, 16–18 September 2026, can take part in the ISM Spin the Wheel promotion by completing the Spin the Wheel entry form at ism.ie/competition.
2. Eligibility: Open to residents of the Republic of Ireland aged 16+. ISM employees, their immediate families and anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible.
3. Prizes: Prizes may include a 2-hour ISM driving lesson, entry into a draw to win 12 EDT lessons, N-plates, L-plates, sweets, air fresheners and ISM keyrings. Prizes are subject to availability and may vary during the event. The 2-hour driving lesson is a limited-availability prize.
4. Prize Allocation: Prizes are awarded according to the result shown on the Spin the Wheel. Each participant is entitled to one spin per valid entry. Physical prizes must be claimed at the ISM stand at the time of winning.
5. 12 EDT Draw: Where the wheel awards a 12 EDT Draw Entry, the email address provided will be entered into a draw to win 12 EDT driving lessons with ISM. This entry will form part of a separate ISM social media competition. The winner will be selected from all eligible entries and notified by email by 31 December 2026. The draw arrangements and closing date may be subject to change.
6. Driving Lesson Prizes: Driving lesson prizes are subject to ISM lesson availability and normal booking requirements. They have no cash alternative but may be transferred to another eligible person.
7. General: ISM reserves the right to substitute a prize with an alternative of similar value where necessary and to amend or withdraw the promotion where circumstances outside its reasonable control require it.
8. Data: Personal information submitted through the entry form will be handled in accordance with ISM’s Privacy Policy. Where you opt in to receive learning-to-drive updates, ISM may contact you by email and/or SMS with information and offers relating to driving lessons, gift vouchers and insurance benefits. You can opt out at any time.

1. ISM Coaching & Mentoring provides practical, one-to-one support focused on work and job progression.
2. The service may support areas such as progressing at work, changing jobs, returning to work, interview or promotion preparation, confidence at work and specific work-related challenges.
3. Coaching & Mentoring is not recruitment advice, career guidance, counselling, psychotherapy or medical care. 8. ISM may decline or discontinue Coaching & Mentoring where the service is not appropriate for the client’s needs or where there is a conflict of interest or inappropriate behaviour.
