ISM Recruitment, a division of the Irish School of Motoring, is actively seeking skilled Health Care Assistants (HCAs) to join their team on a flexible, temporary basis. As a Tier 2 provider to Ireland’s Health Service Executive (HSE), ISM offers opportunities to work in public sector HSE facilities hospitals across Co.Offaly, Ireland & surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide person-centered care as outlined in residents’ care plans

Assist residents with personal hygiene

Support residents with eating and drinking

Follow instructions from nursing staff

Qualifications and Attributes:

Prior experience in a caring or support role

QQI Level 5 qualification with all 8 modules in a healthcare-related discipline

Completion of, or willingness to complete, the following training:

HSE land certificates

MAPA (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression)

HACCP (Level 2)

Patient Moving & Handling

Basic Life Support

Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults

Fire Safety

Good character

Own transport preferred due to location of clients

Flexibility to work various day and night shifts

Salary and Benefits:

€16.68 to €21.15 per hour depending on proven previous experience. Premium rates apply for weekends, bank holidays, and qualification.
