ISM Training Services specialise in providing accredited training for both private and business customers to ensure they can provide quality Forklift training to their staff. This course is for experienced RTITB- accredited forklift instructors or previously IIPMM-certified instructors who need to renew their qualification or require refresher training to reach examination standard. Read our forklift Frequently Asked Questions or learn more about our Forklift Training Courses.
An RTITB qualification lasts for a period of 5 years, and updated training and re-examination are required to retain the qualification for a further period. Trainees will review the relevant health and safety legislation and code of practice and prepare to plan and deliver forklift training to the RTITB standard. This is an intensive course which requires a significant amount of study and will be assessed externally by an RTITB examiner. Trainees will avail of practical experience in ISM’s purpose-built Forklift Training Centre.
Our new purpose-built Forklift Training Centre is fully equipped with the latest Counterbalance, Reach and Power Pallet trucks. All ISM Forklift and Warehouse Training and instructors are accredited and approved by the RTITB.
Who Should Attend?
This is an intensive 5 Day programme that requires significant study. The candidate must have current, in-date RTITB instructor certification or previous IIPMM certification. The course is externally examined by an RTITB examiner, which is included in the overall cost. Study material and training notes are also included as part of the programme.
What Qualifications Will I Receive?
All trainees are independently assessed by the RTITB and will receive an RTITB instructor certificate on successful completion of the course. The training provides the qualification for the newly qualified instructor to certify training and instruct both novice and experienced operators.
