Company Description:

ISM Recruitment are now recruiting for an Artic Drivers on behalf of our client a well-established family run business located in North County Dublin. These excellent opportunities for drivers are now available to drivers with up to 1 years experience, and for the first time Newly Qualified Drivers are also being considered for these roles. The ideal person will need to be customer focused. The work will involve bay to bay deliveries to retail distribution centres throughout Ireland. On site training will be provided for the successful applicants

Reporting to Transport Manager you will be responsible for:

The new driver will be report to the Transport Manager daily to ensure high levels of service are maintained and to support the driver in becoming an integral part of the Team
Ensuring your vehicle and trailer are checked prior to departure (Driver Walkaround)
Report any defaults.
Ensure trip sheet information is correct.
Driving to deliver customer products to delivery’s destinations and collections as required.
Securing loads in your trailer to ensure safe delivery to client’s customer base.
Deliveries will consist of bay to bay deliveries to some of Irelands Largest Retail Distribution centres.

Candidate Requirements:

Drivers will preferably have 1 years Artic experience with an established Irish/UK logistics provider however all drivers will be trained onsite.
Full Clean Driving Licence (EC)
Valid Digital Taco-graph card
Valid CPC Card – Including New CPC Module completed after the 10th of September 2024
Good working track record
Excellent Knowledge of Irish Road Network

If you recently qualified for your Artic Licence or you have less than 1 Years Experience you can still be considered for this position upon completion of driver’s assessment.

Salary and Benefits:

€18.50 per hour
Average 48-hour week
Daily Tax-Free Allowance
Paid Weekly
Only 30 Minutes deducted per day for lunch
Holiday & Bank Holiday Pay
10% Reduction off a range of ISM Training Courses (excluding driving lessons)

Newly Qualified Drivers considered sas Full Training is provided

Hours of Work:

Drivers to work any 4 Shifts over 7 Days
Nightshift start time: 02:00am or 03:00am
Morning shifts start time: 07:00am or 08:00am
Afternoon shifts start time: 14:00pm or 15:00pm
All shifts are approx 12 hours in duration
