Company Description:

ISM Driver Recruitment are now recruiting for a number of Weekend Artic Drivers for our client a family-owned company established since 2011 and based in Santry. The ideal person will need to be customer focused and willing to work as Part of a Team. This excellent position covers Friday , Saturday Sunday and Mondays or any combination of Nights, working with retail deliveries on behalf of a large FMCG company.

Reporting to the transport office you will be responsible for:

The new team member will be report to the Transport Manager daily to ensure high levels of service are maintained and to support the driver in becoming an integral part of the Team.
Ensuring your vehicle and trailer are checked prior to departure (Driver Walkaround)
Report any defaults.
Ensure trip sheet information is correct.
Driving to deliver customer products to delivery’s destinations and collections as required.
Securing loads in your trailer to ensure safe delivery to client’s customer base.
Deliveries will consist of retail store deliveries and bay to bay deliveries to some of Irelands Largest Retail Distribution centres.
Drivers will be allocated their own Truck

Candidate Requirements:

Drivers require 1 years Artic experience with an established Irish/UK logistics provider.
Full Clean Driving Licence (EC)
Valid Digital Taco-graph card
Valid CPC Card – Including New CPC Module completed after the 10th of September 2024
Good working track record
Excellent Knowledge of Irish Road Network

Salary and Benefits:

€15.00 Per Hour Monday & Friday plus €39.00 Tax Free Allowance
€18.75 Per Hour Saturday and Sunday plus €39.00 Tax Free Allowance

Hours of Work:

Rostered 1 week in advance
Friday, Saturday Sunday or Mondays
Flexible Start Times 4pm, 5pm or 6pm onwards
Runs are 10 Hours (Maximum 12 Hours) Including break.
