Company Description:

Our Client a leading Supplier of Animal products throughout Europe and Internationally
Is are looking to hire an experienced Warehouse supervisor to oversee all aspects associated with a busy warehouse in Cork. This warehouse is responsible for world-wide pick and pack of orders for retailers and inbound stock/containers. The role requires the candidate to coordinate and manage their team, plan daily orders for dispatch and maintain a tidy functioning warehouse. The ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role and possess strong management and leadership qualities and good computer skills.

Duties :
Manage & assist direct reports to ensure daily tasks are completed to the highest standards efficiently.
Provide robust, capable leadership and clear direction to all team members.
Effectively communicate with Management and relevant team leaders
Active role on the Management team
Ensure all administrative functions for your team are completed correctly and on time.
Monitor staff compliance with all Health and Safety requirements.
Co-ordinate in Annual Stock take.
Assist the warehouse team in the picking of orders, loading and unloading of stock throughout the warehouse – hands on approach.

Candidate Requirements:
Excellent computer skills, MS Office, etc.
Should be highly motivated and Capable of working on their own initiative.
You will need 2+ years’ Warehouse Supervisor experience.
Strong organisational and self -management skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks within a busy environment and to specific time frames.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a pressurised environment and with individuals at all levels.
Fork-lift licence an advantage but not required.

Salary and Benefits:
€40,000 to €45,000 DOE and any Overtime paid at time and a half

Hours of Work:
Hours: 7.45am to 16.45pm Monday to Thursday
and 7.45am to 12.45 pm Friday i.e. 39 hours week.
