ISM Recruitment, a division of the Irish School of Motoring, is actively seeking skilled Health Care Assistants (HCAs) to join their team on a flexible, temporary basis. As a Tier 2 provider to Ireland’s Health Service Executive (HSE), ISM offers opportunities to work in public sector HSE facilities across Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland.
Job Responsibilities:
” Provide person-cantered care as outlined in residents’ care plans
” Assist residents with personal hygiene
” Support residents with eating and drinking
” Follow instructions from nursing staff
Qualifications and Attributes:
” Prior experience in a caring or support role
” QQI Level 5 qualification with all 8 modules in a healthcare-related discipline
” Own transport preferred due to location of clients
” Flexibility to work various day and night shifts

Completion of, or willingness to complete, the following training:
” HSE land certificates
” MAPA (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression)
” HACCP (Level 2)
” Patient Moving & Handling
” Basic Life Support
” Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
” Fire Safety

Salary and Benefits:
” €16.68 to €21.15 per hour depending on proven previous experience. Premium rates apply for weekends, bank holidays, and qualification.
