This training will show you techniques for safe towing, manoeuvring, coupling and uncoupling, reversing and parking. With access to Dublin’s only off-road practice Reversing Bay, you will gain the confidence and skill to pass your BE category driving test the first time. To apply for a Category BE learner permit, you must first hold a valid Category B (car) licence. If you completed a car theory test when obtaining your B licence, you do not need to take another theory test. However, if you never completed a theory test for your car licence, you must pass the Car Theory Test first. You can book the Car Theory Test through theorytest.ie, and study material is available via the official app, book or disc. The cost is €45. Once this is complete, you can apply for your BE learner permit through NDLS.ie. The fee is €45. Bring the required identification and any supporting documents to your NDLS appointment.
