This course is for individuals required to respond to hazardous fire situations in the home, workplace or community. Employers are legally required to prepare adequate emergency plans, protect the safety and health of their employees and carry out a fire safety risk assessment. This training course will provide trainees with an understanding of the hazards and risks of a potential fire in their workplace so they can take the necessary measures to reduce the chance of a fire and deal with a dangerous situation quickly before it escalates.

- Recognising hazardous fire situations
- Measures to take to prevent or mitigate against the outbreak of fire either in the home or in the workplace
