Is This The Training For You?
This course is for professional drivers and managers in the Transport and Logistics industry who require training in reporting, recording and investigating work-related collisions. This is suited for those who have previously been involved in a collision. All participants must hold a full licence for the relevant vehicle. Drivers will receive a four-hour assessment with one of our RoSPA-tested, RSA Approved Driving Instructors. Upon completion, employers will receive a detailed report for each driver with a low, medium or high-risk evaluation. Further training may be recommended as a result of the driver assessment. All participants will receive a free ISM Driving for Work Sample Policy document pack.
Topics covered include:
- Procedure for reporting collisions (including damage-only), significant near misses and offences to the line manager
- The line manager follows up on all work-related road incidents, near misses and road traffic offences
- Conducting investigations, analysing and interpreting the findings
