This course offers training and certification on the Counterbalance Forklift, Reach Truck, Power Pallet, Bendi, Comni-lift, VNA, Pallet Stacker and Hi-ab. The length of the course will depend on the company’s size and needs. Trainees will learn under the guidance of instructors approved by the RTITB.

Who Should Attend?
Companies who have a group of staff requiring initial training on the operation of company forklift trucks, including less common forklifts, should book Offsite training. All forklift operators require basic training before receiving specific job training and familiarisation training from their company. Trainees who complete the course will have the basic skills and knowledge required for the safe operation of the relevant forklifts.
All trainees must be a minimum of 18 years old in accordance with the HSA Code of Practice.
What Qualifications Will I Receive?
All trainees will receive an ISM Certificate on successful completion of the course. Trainees will be required to demonstrate safe forklift operation through a practical assessment examined by the ISM Forklift Trainer.
ISM certification lasts three years, after which it is recommended that operators receive refresher training. Trainees must receive job-specific and familiarisation training before being considered fully competent.
