Company Description:
Our client operates a busy food production facility and is looking for a motivated individual to join their team as a Trainee Machine Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and develop a career within food manufacturing.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous production or warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential
Willingness to learn and develop machine operating skills
Good attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Good level of spoken and written English
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
Operating an automatic potato packing machine following training
Monitoring machine performance to ensure efficient production
Ensuring potatoes are packed to the required quality standards
Reporting any machine faults or production issues to supervisors
Maintaining production records where required
Supporting the smooth running of the production line
Other Duties:
Assisting with general production duties as required
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Following all company health & safety and food hygiene procedures
Supporting colleagues to meet daily production targets
Hours of Work:
Monday to Saturday
Monday – Wednesday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Thursday & Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: Up to 3:00pm depending on workload
30-minute unpaid lunch break
